Janelle Goodwin is an oil painter with primary focus on the landscape. She is primarily self-taught. She learned oil painting by visiting art galleries, museums and by doing extensive study of the subject. She uses reference material from her own photographs and does plein air studies on site. Janelle's work has been described as having an underlying spiritual quality.
Her paintings are in numerous private collections and she has won several exhibition awards. Most recently, she has turned her focus from Impressionism to the Tonalist landscape.
