Janelle Goodwin is an oil painter who's main focus is on the landscape.  She is primarily self-taught.  She learned oil painting by visiting art galleries, museums and by doing extensive study of the subject.  She uses reference material from her own photographs and does plein air studies on site.  Janelle's work has been described as having an underlying spiritual quality.
